THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES
I am so proud to have participated in the Vagina Monologues this year.
I took part in the DC and Detriot production with Yetta Young of YYP. I was awesome. I got the opportunity to work with so much great talent. We put on great shows and enjoyed each other in the process.
In Detriot the entire cast receieved the "Spirit of Detriot Award" from the City Council Woman, Martha Reeves. She was also a member of Martha and the Vandellas.
I still pinch myself, the experience was awesome and I have created great friendships in the process.
Every year I look at how I can create an opportunity to grow in my person and professional life. Where they will compliment each other. It never ceases to amaze me, I plan one thing and God plans and takes it to a whole other level. WOW! For more info visit www.vdaytour.com
Don't miss the two monthly comedy nights in the DC/MD area- Tickle Me 3rd Thursday @ Mayorga Coffee Factory, 8040 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD . Right next to Crisfield Seafood Restuarant. The show starts at 7:30 pm. Come check it out! It's the funniest show in town featuring comedians from Def Comedy Jam, BET Comic view, Showtime @ the Apollo and many basements and living rooms. We just celebrated our One Year Anniversary!

She is also the host of the "Speak Out To Reach Out" School Tour. The tour takes place throughout schools in the DC, MD and VA area. The tour features talent of various backgrounds who speak with children about their goals and dreams. Encouraging and inspiring youth to stay focused. This is something Aishah has always wanted to be a part of.
